Hero Electronics Ltd. has added low-power blue laser diode collimator pens to its range of laser modules and diodes. Packaged in several sizes, the devices deliver output of up to 5 mW at 405 nm. They are made from aluminum or stainless steel and use glass replica aspheric lenses for collimated or focused beams. OEM modules with up to 30 mW of output also are available at 532, 650 and 830 nm, with other wavelengths offered in lower powers.
