Stocker & Yale Inc. has added a line of fiber optic illumination systems that provide shadow- and glare-free lighting for industrial, microscopy, medical and machine vision applications. The fiber optic illuminators have variable intensity control up to 3200 K output over a wide dynamic range. These systems use a standard 150-W quartz halogen EKE lamp that can be interchanged with a high- intensity output EJV or other 21-V lamp. The rear AC input plug is an IEC 320 that allows the user to easily interchange power cords.
