The PDL 800 is suitable for time-resolved fluorescence spectroscopy, fiber-based distributed temperature measurement, wafer inspection systems, time-response characterization of optoelectronic devices and optical tomography of biological tissue. Available from PicoQuant GmbH, the picosecond diode laser features pulses down to 50-ps full width half maximum, repetition rates from single shot to 80 MHz and peak power of up to 500 mW. It is offered with a selection of wavelengths from 635 to 1550 nm.
