Advanced Research Instruments Corp. has upgraded the F-100T amplifier/discriminator with a digital threshold monitor to provide more accurate control. The F-100T features a large 3.5-digit display at the top of the amplifier that monitors and exhibits a digital reading of the actual threshold voltage. The company says it is compatible with most rate meters or timers, and its small size allows it to be easily placed next to a detector to reduce noise.
