Newport Corp. has introduced a line of precision miniature optical mounts based on its ULTIMA series. The ULTIMA-Mini contains such ULTIMA features as the Clear Quadrant Design. Specifically designed for 1/2- in. optics, these components offer apertured and platform versions. Front surface mirror holders, gimbal, beam steering and cube holders are also available. These three-axis, 80-thread-per-inch adjusted, kinematic mounts provide the option of hex and knob adjustment.
