Lytron Inc.'s custom plate-fin heat exchangers can handle proof pressures up to 750 psi. These all-aluminum components can be designed in counter, crossflow or parallel configurations for any combination of gas, liquid or two-phase liquid. They contain finned chambers separated by flat panels and are circuited in alternating hot and cold fluid passages. The vacuum-brazed core assemblies allow clean, metallurgical bonding between the fins and plates. They are suitable for military and aerospace applications that require high efficiency and compact size.
