Micro-Optics Inc.Micro-Optics Inc. has introduced an in-line fiber optic polarization combiner/splitter for 1480 and 1550 nm and other wavelengths for pump-power combining and other applications. Housed in a compact package, the device features an insertion loss of 0.5 dB and an extinction ratio of >20 dB and has the capacity to handle high power. It is available with either polarization modulation fibers on all three ports or two inputs and a single-mode fiber. The fibers include Panda, bow-tie and oval clad types. Also available is high-extinction ratio polarization modulation connectorization.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPhotonics.com 4/27/2023Optical Time Domain ReflectometersThe D-Series of Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR) solutions from EXFO are advanced field testing tools that deliver highly accurate measurements to characterize and validate fiber links. ...Photonics Spectra January 2024 IssueElectro-Optic ModulatorThe ROF10G Mach-Zehnder modulator from Beijing Rofea Optoelectronics is a LiNbO3 intensity modulator for high-speed optical communication, laser sensing, and radio over fiber (RoF) systems.
