The Label-Vision LV-100 provides dual-sided label inspection for plastic containers running on either the blow-molding or filling line. Introduced by Packaging Technologies and Inspection, it was designed to reduce operator intervention. A turn of the Learn Key switch enables the device to use the first good labeled container as a "fingerprint" and to subsequently inspect 300 containers per minute. The system can inspect for label presence, position and damage, and for minor text changes at high resolution. It uses cameras to trigger inspection and to view the labels, eliminating the need for sensors.
