Request InfoProPhotonix Ltd.StockerYale Inc. has introduced two bulk fibers for OEMs and system integrators. The quartz polymer clad silica has a hard coat cladding, high tensile strength and is suitable for UV curing of adhesives and for crack detection using UV-activated dye penetrates. The company says that the fibers have a larger exit angle and a better bend radius to transmit light more efficiently. The glass fibers have a borosilicate cladding that can withstand temperatures up to 1100 ºF. The light produced by this fiber appears whiter because it extends into the UV range down to 400 nm.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaWEBINARSPhotonics.com 1/18/2018Fiberguide RARe Motheye Fiber: Random Anti-Reflective (RARe) Nanostructures on Optical Fibers as Replacement for AR CoatingsAnti-reflective (AR) coatings are now entering their second century and have remained virtually unchanged throughout their life.
