The Dual Camera Link input module provides a simplified way of acquiring digital images. Released by Euresys sa, the component uses 26 wires to achieve a high data rate. It allows one or two cameras to be connected on two Camera Link-compliant connectors for simultaneous image acquisition on both separated unidirectional channels, preventing "signal latency" experienced on bidirectional serial buses. Also, different types of cameras can be connected, such as two monochrome dual-tap, one monochrome four-tap, one RGB or two multiplexed RGBs.
