The ES1000-100 blackbody and temperature controller system has been released by Electro Optical Industries Inc. The blackbody has a built-in controller in its compact, portable housing, which weighs 22 lb. The controller input/display keypad is located on top of the unit. Its digital proportional, integral and derivative configuration provides temperature stability to within 0.5 °C. The operational temperature range is 30 to 1000 °C.
