NIRx Medical Technologies Corp. has introduced its Dynot (for dynamic optical tomography) imaging system that enables the measurement and imaging of hidden structures in tissue and other highly scattering media. The company says the system's flexible architecture allows customization for a wide variety of applications, such as optical encephalography, pharmaceutical research and mammography. Dynot allows the continuous acquisition of optical tomography data sets with a dynamic signal range of greater than 109. The system features adaptive measurement heads, four-wavelength capability and a 180-dB measuring range.
