The OMS-100 uses a fully automated system via a robot arm for low insertion and optical return loss. The unit is configured with a backup routine that records the switching state prior to power failures. It works in single- and multimode networks and fits standard 19-in. racks. Its design offers a solution for building flexible networks by using automated distribution frames with little human interaction.
