The EFA-P22F has been added to MPB Communications Inc.'s line of benchtop gain-flattened erbium-doped fiber amplifiers. Suitable for DWDM applications, this model operates over the C-band and offers ≥22 dBm of saturated output power and a gain spectrum flattened to better than ±0.5 dB over 40 nm. The device's minimum operational wavelength range is 1527 to 1567 nm, and its single-channel noise figure at 0 dBm composite input, over the wavelength range, is ≤5.5 dB.
