fPolarA differential group delay line that controls the relative delay between orthogonal polarization components is available from General Photonics Corp. DynaDelay is suitable for precision TDM bit alignment, polarization mode dispersion compensation and true-time delay for steering phased array antennas. The amount of digital group delay can be digitally switched in 35 µs from 0 to 43 ps with 6-bit resolution. Other specifications include insertion loss of 1.5 dB, a minimum return loss of 50 dB and a standard wavelength of 1550 ±100 nm.
