The LDM-4989 laser diode mount is designed for 26- and 20-pin butterfly-packaged laser diode modules. Available from ILX Lightwave Corp., the device accommodates wavelength-tunable DFB laser modules and has two standard 13-pin socket sides, enabling the use of most butterfly packages with standard pin spacing. Included with the mount are three 9-pin D-sub connector inputs, one male and two female, for use with custom cables supplied by the user.
