MADISON, Wis., Nov. 19, 2015 — Schwarzschild objective from Pike Technologies A 100× Schwarzschild objective from Pike Technologies Inc. is customizable for broadband microimaging.

The reflective objective achieves a numerical aperture of 0.8. It has a longer working distance than the equivalent refractive objective, and interfaces with standard threads and conjugate lengths.

No adjustments or alignments are necessary. The optical surfaces are extremely broadband because they are bare metal, enhanced reflection dielectric coated or custom coated.

Applications include IR microsampling, microscale spot generation, laser illumination and IR spectroscopy.
