CLEARWATER, Fla., Aug. 21, 2013 — Micromo has introduced Faulhaber GmbH & Co. KG’s Series 1218B brushless DC servomotors, designed for applications where high power and overall motor size are key requirements, such as medical pumps, robotics and laboratory automation.

The devices measure 18 ×12 mm; with an operating temperature range of −20 to 100 °C.

They deliver continuous torque up to 1 mNm and offer integrated digital hall sensor feedback. When combined with proprietary planetary or spur gearheads, the output torque can reach up to 300 mNm. In positioning applications, zero-backlash spur gearheads reduce or eliminate undesirable mechanical play.
