BASINGSTOKE, England, Nov. 4, 2014 — The new XC USB 3.0 industrial camera from IDS Imaging Development Systems features autofocus, 16× digital zoom, face detection and backlight compensation.

The 13-MP camera delivers individual images with a resolution of 4192 × 3104 or 4128 × 3096, or live recordings of different sizes up to full HD (1920 × 1080) with a maximum frame rate of 30 fps.

The camera is suited for use in process monitoring or inline quality testing in varying lighting conditions, as well as for dynamic shooting situations including medical technology, kiosk systems, transportation and logistics, or virtual and augmented reality.
