The SuperNova™ from Ayar Labs is a 16-wavelength light source meant for AI and optical I/O applications. Compliant with CW-WDM MSA specifications, the light source offers compact packaging, operates at wide temperature ranges, and can supply light for 256 data channels. The SuperNova enables 16 Tbps of bi-directional bandwidth and 64× the wavelengths compared with CWDM4 multiwavelength pluggable optics.
