Mitutoyo Quick ImageMitutoyo America Corp. has introduced new versions of its Quick Image 2-D vision measuring systems. Two new systems — in 0.2&mult; or 0.5&mult; magnification — feature a new function that enables measurement and tolerance judgment with a single mouse click.

Telecentric lens design offers a wide field of view and depth of focus, facilitating measurement on workpieces with multiple step heights.

The new function enables automatic detection of workpiece position and inclination, and batch measurement of multiple parts with the same shape, up to a maximum of 1000 workpieces at one setting. Measurement results are displayed in real time directly on the video image, which enables quick viewing of tolerance limits. High luminance with built-in LED lighting and a 3-MP color camera enable observation and measurement using high-resolution images.
