29-Megapixel Imaging ColorimeterEvaluate the accuracy of light and color in displays, illuminated components, and light sources, including the latest LED and OLED technologies. Radiant Vision Systems ProMetric® I Imaging Colorimeters are the fastest, most accurate light and color measurement devices for R&D and production applications. Perform automated measurements of light and color values including luminance, chromaticity (CIE color coordinates), uniformity, luminous intensity, luminous flux, correlated color temperature (CCT), pixel/line defects and cloudiness (mura) in displays, and a broad range of other measurements. The cameras combine high-resolution CCDs (to 29MP) and dynamic range (to 73 dB) with optical filters that replicate human visual sensitivity – providing the truest evaluation of light quality. Additional precision is achieved through CCD noise reduction, and the cameras feature interline cooling to ensure low noise during image processing.

ProMetric imaging colorimeters are also factory calibrated using NIST-traceable calibration methods, ensuring absolute luminance and chromaticity data in any measurement application. ProMetric I Imaging Colorimeters are available with 2-, 8-, 16-, and 29-megapixel resolution sensors. These sensors enable pixel- and subpixel-level measurement of displays, inter- and intra-character luminance testing on lighted keyboards, and accurate evaluation of LED luminance and color in luminaires with large LED arrays. Interchangeable, electronically-controlled lenses accommodate a range of applications, offering the ability to remotely adjust aperture and focus for all integration geometries and components. ProMetric imaging colorimeters are used extensively in lab environments for display and light source characterization, including IES/LDT file generation for export to all common optical design software packages.

ProMetric I Imaging Colorimeters were principally engineered, however, to address the demands for high-volume production, delivering the required performance for accurate color and luminance measurements in an automated manufacturing environment. This performance is achieved by leveraging industry-leading TrueTest™ Automated Visual Inspection Software, a test-sequencing platform that executes multiple evaluations of a component at once.
