2D Measurement DeviceTitan Tool Supply Inc. has announced the V-CAD Rapid 2D optimal measurement device from Schneider Messtechnik GmbH, providing accurate and precise measurements of workpieces.

The device automatically recognizes geometric primitives without any preselection and no need for manual alignment of workpieces. Features include a 5-MP CCD black and white camera, a telecentric four-step motorized zoom lens, four different fields of view, telecentric LED transmitted light illumination and LED ring light illumination for incident light measurement.

M3 Measurement software with image processing features is designed for use on touch-screen PCs. An optional measurement and analysis software system, the SAPHIR QD, enables measurement of individual parts or several identical or different parts in one operation.
