Steinbichler Optotechnik GmbH has unveiled the Comet 6 16M sensor for the 3-D digitalization of delicate and detailed objects in conjunction with a single 16-megapixel camera.

Based on a modular structure, the sensor is designed for quick adaptation of measurement field size, even at low working distance. It is compact, ergonomic and adjustable, allowing the user to choose between high-resolution and maximum speed at any time.

The sensor’s projection unit features an extremely bright LED, and its lens technology enables the projected light to be adapted to the object surface, minimizing glare.
