VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Canada, March 16, 2015, — LMI Technologies Inc. has released a new version of its Gocator structured-light 3-D profile sensors, as well as an update to Gocator’s firmware.
The Gocator 2320 features high resolution and accuracy and an expandable field of view for use on electronics assembly lines. The smart sensor’s narrow housing also allows it to be mounted in tight spaces so OEMs and system integrators can easily integrate it into inspection machines already crowded with other equipment.
Gocator Firmware 4.1 adds new features such as filtering, material selection, countersunk-hole measurement and improved visualization for displacement sensors.
