3D-Contour with High-Speed FocuserFARO’s 3D-Contour Scan Head featuring advanced galvanometer technology provides superior bandwidth, accuracy, and flexibility. Using a high bandwidth Z axis mechanism, marking on highly contoured surfaces is now possible.

Used with FARO’s patented BLINK High Speed Focuser, XY focal corrections can be dynamically mapped real-time to enable faster processing of large planar samples. Focus Depths of 170mm at 450 Field of View using a 64µm can now be achieved (Nd-YAG).

The 3D-Contour provides:
     •  40% faster acceleration for reduced cycle times
     •  Single set-up across 125mm (5”) of depth increases overall throughput
     •  Best in class bandwidth to mark the widest depth of field
     •  Industry-leading reliability tested to over 200 million cycles
