The RS6 Laser Scanner from Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence is a 3D laser scanner for the new generation of Absolute Arm portable measuring arm systems.
This scanner offers high-density point cloud data collection at high speeds and high accuracy. SHINE, an advanced set of algorithms, allows measurement at the highest quality and accuracy settings with no reduction in laser scan line width or scanning frame rate. The RS6 Laser Scanner provides a scan line that is 150 mm wide at mid-range. The scanner also measures faster than its predecessor, with a threefold increase in frame rate to 300 Hz.
The scanner can be removed from the arm for easier handling when not in use. A laser targeting grid also simplifies measurement alignment.
