The Artec Ray II high-precision 3D lidar scanner from Artec 3D was developed in collaboration with Leica Geosystems and designed for fast and accurate digitization of large objects and spaces.

Capable of capturing a full dome in 1.7 min. with a 3D point accuracy of 1.9 mm from 10 m, the scanner can seamlessly combine data with other Artec 3D scanners in Artec Studio software, enabling the creation of comprehensive 3D models. When paired with the handheld Artec Leo scanner, it can create digital twins of various objects including wind turbines, airplanes, bridges, and forensic scenes. The scanner offers metrology-grade precision and features such as automated targetless field registration, real-time scan alignment, and rain and dust protection. It comes with four batteries for uninterrupted scanning sessions.
