HEIDELBERG, Germany, Jan. 27, 2022 — 3D Lithography and Microprinting ToolThe two-photon polymerization MPO 100 from Heidelberg Instruments Mikrotechnik GmbH is a multi-user tool that combines both the requirements of 3D lithography and 3D microprinting in one device.

With resolutions in the 100-nm range and structure heights of >1 cm, the microfabrication device’s 1-10-100-1000 capability will enable users at universities, R&D institutions, and in the industry to develop new capabilities in areas such as micro-optics, microfluidics, and biomedicine. The MPO 100 works with a laser wavelength in the green spectral range, which is ideally suited for the 3D structuring of typical photoresists. It is also optimized for hybrid polymers. A flowbox guarantees temperature stability of up to 0.1 °C, providing the necessary stability for large-scale exposures.
