MANHATTAN BEACH, Calif., Sept. 5, 2018 — 3D Modeling Software Plug-InA plug-in for Synopsys’ CODE V software has been announced by K2realm, adding functionality in 3D interactive modeling, analysis, tolerancing, and optimization integrated with CODE V’s core environment.

The Extensions Pack for CODE V is a subscription-based plugin for Synopsys’ CODE V optical design software that accelerates the design process through intuitive interfaces for data access, automated design tasks, and multicore Monte Carlo tolerancing. The plug-in supports CODE V’s modeling, analysis, tolerancing, and optimization features with productivity-enhancing tools, including a 3D viewer with one-click model changes, interactive slider controls, and custom colors for lens data.

Reports are automatically generated from analysis charts with customizable layouts, overlays, and easy setup for side-by-side lens comparisons. Users are provided with the ability to find and sort the most sensitive tolerances visually and speed up Monte Carlo runtimes with multicore distribution.
