MINNEAPOLIS, July 11, 2016 — 3D Scanning Inspection SystemCyberOptics Corp. has announced the CyberGage360 high-precision, automated 3D scanning inspection system.

The device facilitates in-line, near-line process inspection, and incoming and outgoing quality assurance applications for parts that are <200 mm in diameter and 100 mm high, with a resolution of 50 μm. A 360°, automated 3D scan of complex shaped parts with an accuracy to 25 μm can be generated in less than three minutes. CyberOptics’ proprietary 3D Multi-Reflection Suppression technology inhibits measurement distortions, eliminating human error and providing consistent results.

Designed for use in general purpose metrology, the CyberGage360 has a range of potential applications including consumer electronics and industrial applications from automotive to aerospace.
