HYERES, France, April 23, 2019 — 3D Scattered Light SolutionThe Mini-Diff V2 Infrared 3D scattered light solution from Light Tec allows users to make measurements at 850 and 940 nm.

Mini-Diff V2 IR is a compact, easy-to-use, camera-based optical system used for scattering characterization. It measures the bidirectional reflectance distribution function and bidirectional transmittance distribution function of material and object at 940 nm. Measurements are done in <30 s for each incident angle.

The system is designed for optical designers using illumination design software to develop sensors working the NIR. Typical applications include range finders for autonomous cards, IR sensors for 3D television, augmented reality, and material characterization for lidar.
