The C5-1280-GigE 3D sensor from Automation Technology GmbH applies the laser-triangulation principle for the scanning of objects.

The device features a resolution of 1280 × 1024 pixels with measurement speeds of up to 200 kHz. The sensor scores a dynamic of 512 height values, even at its maximal profile rate of 200,000 profiles/s. Measuring speed is independent of the used evaluation algorithm. HDR-3D functionality enables better scanning of materials and surfaces, having inhomogeneous reflection properties.

The C5-1280- GigE communicates via a Gigabit Ethernet interface and complies with the GigE-Vision and GenICam standard. The sensors are equipped with M12 tensile- and tear-resistant connectors to ensure their power supply as well as a reliable data transfer in industrial applications.
