40 GHz Picosecond Fiber Laser System
Calmar LaserRequest Info
Calmar offers a line of ultrafast pulsed fiber lasers for telecommunication network system research and development with applications in optical component and module characterization. This actively mode-locked fiber laser PSL offers a wide range of repetition rates from 0.4 to 45 GHz. The laser emits transform limited pulses with very low phase and amplitude noise. The average output power is > 20 mW. With an optical mode stabilization function integrated, the laser features stable pulse-to-pulse phase relationship that is useful in QPSK transmission configuration. In conjunction with its bit rate multiplier and pulse compressor, up to 640 GHz pulse stream can be generated. Wavelengths of C-band, 780 nm and 1060 nm are available for the laser, which extends its applications to other areas such as biomedical imaging and homeland security.
