KADOMA, Japan, Nov. 20, 2018 — 4K camera solutions from Panasonic Corp. include the GP-UH532 4K Ultra HD Micro Camera and the 4K POVCAM Recording System.

The GP-UH532 4K Ultra HD Micro Camera has the smallest 1/3-in. camera head on the market and can be used in a variety of applications. With 3840 × 2160 resolution at 50/60 p the camera is capable of outputting images at up to 1600 TV lines, for smooth, detailed pictures and accurate color reproduction. The camera features various HDMI and SDI outputs, with 4/2K simultaneous output. The latest firmware update includes many innovative features such as long exposure, wide dynamic range image enhancement, binning, and automatic profile shift function.

The 4K POVCAM Surgical Image Recording System incorporates features such as high-definition 4K imagery with further image enhancement provided by a hybrid five-axis image stabilizer and intelligent zoom. Connectivity is provided across the IP stream and control, with the device recording on SDXC cards. Additionally, the system benefits from a compact and lightweight remote operation panel, with a touch-panel LCD monitor for live monitoring and control.
