The LaserBoxx laser diode modules from Oxxius SA are now available at 515 nm, with output power of 20 mW in a circular diffraction-limited beam. The industry-standard package measures 100 x 40 x 40 mm and enables straightforward integration into existing instruments. Features include power stability of <2% over 8 h; low noise of <0.5% rms from 10 Hz to 2 MHz; fast transistor-transistor-logic modulation with <20-ns rise/fall times; extended analog modulation of >2 MHz at –3 dB; and analog, USB and RS-232 control interfaces. The modules are built on a stable mechanical frame to ensure good beam-pointing stability and subsequent long-term output power stability for single-mode fiber delivery. The company offers LaserBoxx modules from the UV to the NIR, including models dedicated for life sciences at 405, 488, 559, 588 and 640 nm.
