Oven Industries’ 5R1-1400 AC temperature controller operates with integrated potentiometers or via a PC through the transistor-transistor logic (TTL) level universal asynchronous receiver/transmitter communication port.

The 2.5-in-sq. device delivers up to 15 A of load current from a zero-voltage-switched, low-noise, solid-state relay. An AC line-power isolation of 1 kV for the communication port and sensor input ensures operator safety. The device offers 85 to 265 V of alternating current from 50 to 60 Hz, temperature resolution of 0.1 °C and ambient temperature operation from –20 to 70 °C.

Features include a universal AC input, open sensor protection, and PC-programmable set-temperature range and pulse interference detector control. Accessories include a USB-to-TTL interface cable, flange mount and temperature sensor.
