New Imaging Technologies (NIT) and M8 have released the 8Pico-Cam, a monochrome analog camera measuring only 20 × 20 × 18 mm.
Designed by M8, the camera integrates NIT’s NSC0902 wide-dynamic-range (WDR) sensor on a 18 × 18-mm board. It provides high-quality images in a single shot with minimal power consumption and delivers a 768 × 576 signal through a standard composite video output. It supports a 5- to 9-V power supply and an S-mount lens.
The camera is offered with aluminum housing but is available to OEM integrators as a single electronic board. It is specially designed for orbital- or seam-welding-control-process, or industrial or multipurpose applications.
