Artemis CCD Ltd. has launched the FS92 9.2-megapixel sensor for its FS series cooled CCD camera line for low-light applications, including fluorescence and chemiluminescence imaging, and optical spectroscopy.

The sensor features 9.19 million effective pixels in a Type 1 3388 × 2712 array. As with all members of the FS series, it features a typical read noise of 5 electrons and asymmetric pixel binning.

Available with either a monochrome or color sensor, it is Peltier-cooled to a delta of −25 °C below ambient. The alternative rectangular body design can achieve cooling of an additional −10 °C.

It is fully compatible with all software downloads available on the company’s website.
