Aerotech Inc. has introduced a series of rotary air-bearing stages. The ABRT-150 model is 146 mm wide and 135 mm tall and has a 100-mm tabletop diameter and a 20-mm aperture. The ABRT-200 is 196 mm wide and 165 mm tall, with a 145-mm tabletop diameter and a 30-mm aperture. The ABRT-260 is 260 mm wide and 185 mm tall, with a 200-mm tabletop diameter and a 50-mm aperture. All offer 360° continuous travel, and all use the proprietary S-series slotless, brushless motor that has a magnetic circuit design to produce high-torque output with minimal heat generation.
