SANTA CLARA, Calif., Aug. 2, 2023 — The Origin™ E1 LittleNPU series of specialized artificial intelligence inference edge processors from Expedera is designed for always-sensing camera applications on smartphones, security cameras, home appliances, and other power-constrained devices.
The processors provide a power-efficient and security-aware method of adding artificial intelligence processing to always-sensing camera subsystems. They consume as little as 10 mW of power in some implementations, addressing the power and privacy concerns of such camera deployments. The processors are available as soft IP and can be used in any semiconductor process.
