The ATS 200, an alignment tuning station from Trioptics, ensures precision and flexibility for the production of mounted lenses.
Combining a compact, stable turning lathe with centration measurement, the ATS 200 aligns the lens mount’s axis of symmetry with the optical axis. Integrated sensors ensure accurate measurements while multiple diamond tools machine the front and rear contact surfaces.
Granite construction and vibration isolation ensure thermal stability, rigidity and accuracy. Common lens mount materials of 1 µm are centered by three ultra-precision axes on air bearings, a calibration chuck and an OptiCentric system.
Lens mounts can be machined up to a diameter of 200 mm and a weight of 5 kg. A center thickness measurement system and high accuracy optical sensors make the ATS 200 applicable for flexible use with infrared lenses, aspherical lenses and complex assemblies.
