Lumencor’s AURA Light Engine^® delivers unprecedented power, stability and reproducibility with bright, solid-state light sources and advanced electronics. This fluorescence excitation subsystem is an ideal platform for instrument manufacturers (OEMs), enabling precise quantitation and high resolution imaging for life science and materials science applications. Light outputs are refined by bandpass filters and merged into a common optical train. Electronic controls are implemented via an onboard microprocessor which provides advanced real-time monitoring functions, in addition to basic control of light source on/off and linearization of intensity control. Optical adapters are available to efficiently serve the instrument design.
