Advanced Lighting Controllers
Advanced illumination (Ai)Request Info
Measuring 115mm x 122mm and only 22mm wide, the DCS-100E is a DIN rail mountable, three channel, single-output lighting controller which uses the latest LED-driver and microcontroller technology to provide a flexible and robust solution for strobed and constant current lighting applications.
Four features set the controller apart from the competition:
Ethernet Connectivity
With the DCS-100E, it's easy to monitor device status and/or change operational parameters. Accessible through a PC-based software GUI, browser, or simple command-based interface, standard Ethernet protocols (UDP & TCP/IP) are used to interface with all functions of the controller.
Product Flexibility
The DCS-100E is designed so that each channel can be driven independently using the most suitable power conversion scheme. Whether step-up or step-down, each channel can drive completely different load configurations, simultaneously. To illustrate, the controller can drive a single LED in pulsed mode, a ring light in constant current mode and a bar light in pulsed mode as well, all simultaneously with different current settings, pulse widths, frequencies, etc.
Advanced GUI & Browser Control
With Ai’s advanced software and browser controls, you’re able to manage the DCS-100E anywhere you have a Wi-Fi or wired connection to the associated network.
SignaTech® Enabled Design
Advanced illumination’s proprietary SignaTech® (Signature Technology) allows the DCS-100E to auto-configure itself to any light source built with a preprogrammed SignTech® memory chip. Even with overdriven pulses of up to 50X the nominal steady-state current, LED lighting devices operate safely due to the device information contained in the memory chip and the resulting accommodations made by the controller.
Available now, the DCS-100E is the first in a new line of lighting controllers from Advanced illumination. The DCS-103E, measuring 45mm wide, is a three channel, three output version (three, single channel connectors) available at the end of August, 2016.
