OULU, Finland, Oct. 6, 2014 — The new AisaFENIX 1K from Specim is the first commercially available full-spectrum hyperspectral sensor for aerial applications.

It offers 1024 spatial pixels, producing readily co-registered visible and near-infrared (VNIR) and shortwave infrared (SWIR) data.

The device is suited for environmental monitoring, forestry, vegetation mapping, geology, law enforcement and defense.
