HANOVER, Md., Aug. 25, 2014 — Integrating a full-color electro-optical (EO) camera with GPS/IMU and geoprocessing software, the Aeroptic Aerial Mapping System from KEYW enables the acquisition of high-resolution visible-band imagery with submeter geopositional accuracy from varying flight altitudes without surveyed ground control points.

The rapid-refresh EO camera employs advanced noise reduction, image sharpening algorithms and lenses with innovative configurations to capture imagery. Interchangeable lenses offer multiple focal length options.

Aeroptic provides the option of processing images in the air or on the ground, producing unclassified, wide-area orthomosaic maps in near real time. Generated imagery products are ready for immediate integration into standard commercial viewing tools and GIS packages.
