EMERYVILLE, Calif., Aug. 20, 2019 — Agricultural Disease SensorThe SporeCam sensor from LumiGrow Inc. allows crop growers to detect diseases early and optimize their pest management practices to minimize yield losses.

The sensor is integrated with the LumiGrow smartPAR Wireless Control System, which automatically adjusts the LumiGrow smart LED fixtures to a spectrum that targets the detected disease. The device can capture, inspect, and classify harmful airborne spores for diseases such as powdery mildew and botrytis.

Under smart LED systems, growers can reduce the incidence of fungal and fungal-like pathogens in their crops.
