BrightSolutions.jpgBright Solutions Srl has released the Wedge high-peak-power diode-pumped solid-state laser distributed by Bfi Optilas. The compact device delivers pulse durations from 500 ps to 3.5 ns with a peak power of 2 MW and Q-switching up to 3 kHz. The all-solid-state design features low heat waste and air cooling. Options include beam expanding and collimating optics, an extended frequency range, circular polarization and second harmonic at 532 nm. It is suitable for OEM applications such as micromachining of hard and soft materials, glass and crystal engraving, lidar, laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy and medical diagnostics.
