VAN NUYS, Calif., May 13, 2021 — The AU200-200x200 Alignment Stages from Optimal Engineering Systems Inc. provide high resolution and repeatability.

Supplied with a standard 4-mm/turn ground lead screw, the low-profile stages feature 200 mm of travel in both the X and Y axes with a 250 × 250 mm open aperture. They feature a resolution of 1 μm when using a 20 micro-steps/step micro-stepper motor driver and >2-μm repeatability. Integration of tooling and fixtures is facilitated through a precision series of threaded holes. As an option, a solid top is also available.

Applications include alignment, inspection, testing, scanning, laser drilling, machining, semiconductor handling, sampling, assembly, and optical uses in industry, medicine, and R&D.
