VAN NUYS, Calif., June 1, 2023 — The XYR-15-60-01 and XYR-15-60-04 XY-Theta Alignment Stages from Optimal Engineering Systems Inc. feature sub-µm resolution with 15 mm of travel in the X and Y axes.

The devices feature 360° of continuous rotation and are driven by two-phase stepper motors with 0.25-µm resolutions. The XYR-15-60-01 has manual adjustment knobs while the XYR-15-60-04 has quadrature encoders for position verification. The compact stages can be used in applications such as alignment, testing, inspection, scanning, laser drilling, machining, semiconductor handling, sampling, assembly, and optical applications in the industrial, medical, and research fields.
